I wanted to take this moment to introduce to you something brand new at Kent East Chiropractic. Starting September 1st we will have an Acupuncturist joining our team; his name “Brian Kwon”.
Brian is a caring clinician who’s had a very successful career in corporate America and then decided a number of years ago to really make a difference in the world. He is brilliant as an acupuncturist and uses a powerful and unique approach from Korea.
Below is some information about Brian. If you or someone you know would be interested in getting an introductory initial visit with him please contact Jessica at our front desk.
East Asian Medicine wasn’t something new as I have relatives and friends who have been practicing in the field. My interest in the field grew significantly when I searched for meaningful work that can benefit other individuals. I had been working in the science field that had a lot of theories but I wanted to focus on practical aspects of how it can benefit the community.
My goal is to provide evidence or research-based treatment to those who would need physical and mental relief so that they can have an active lifestyle. I am very passionate about helping others by embracing the acupuncture and East Asian medicine.
Combining multiple modalities, I have experience in treating a wide variety of conditions. Some common conditions that are effective at helping are acute and chronic pain, headaches, digestive disorders, sleep disturbances, as well as depression and anxiety. There are many other symptoms and conditions that can be helped by acupuncture and herbal medicine.
My family and I lived in various cities, including Chicago (IL), Cupertino (CA), Kansas City (KS), Lafayette (IN), and Seoul (Korea). Of all the places I have been to, I feel that the Pacific Northwest is surrounded not only by spectacular mountains and coastlines but also by friendly neighbors who are open-minded, health-conscious, and pet-friendly. Since we moved to Seattle 8 years ago, we feel that this area is our home.
My daughter is a sophomore at UW (go Huskies!) while my son is in the Bellevue high school. My wife and I like to travel and hike but we also like to spend time with our 6-year shitzu, Beni, and gardening. My family enjoys every single day that this beautiful state has to offer.
